All the canvas we sell has been primed - universaly prepared and for your creativity. All the canvas except Art Creation are made in Europe, and the canvas stretchers in the Talens canvases are made from pine and of excellent quality in both cotton and linen. As the stretcher bars are made from pine, the canvases have a good weight to them are are less likly to warping, especialy on larger sizes.

Talens canvases are probably one of the best avalable on the market in the UK, as most major artist materials manufacturers make their canvases in the far east. This means that the stretchers be made from a low grade of grainless wood (and therefore less strength is retained by them) that is more likly to warp especially if it is a large size. Talens canvas is avalable in linen and in 2 different thicknesses in cotton.
