ACRYLIC VARNISH GLOSSY 1 LITRE

Purpose: Durable protection of an oil and acrylic
painting (final varnish)
Composition: Acrylic resin, turpentine, white spirit
Qualities:
· For oil colours: apply when paint film has completely dried
(6 to 12 months depending on the paint film thickness; for
acrylic colours with normal coat thickness 4 to 5 days)
· Dries in a few hours
· Does not yellow
· More flexible than Picture varnish glossy
· Produces high gloss (lower gloss than Picture varnish glossy)
· The gloss can be reduced by mixing with Acrylic picture varnish

· Removable with mild solvents
· Can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine
· Clean brushes with white spirit or turpentine
· Flammable (in spray can: extremely flammable)

Ultramarine is a blue pigment with ‘traces of red’. Mixed with bluish reds it offers numerous possibilities for creating surprising shades of violet. In addition, Ultramarine is often used as a transparent layer in the glazing technique. If applied thinly on a white ground or by mixing it with a little white paint, the characteristic, intense, clear blue colour is created.
