Above is my most recent Glass Painted Card. I made a large and small butterfly so, that I could adhere to each other. Mounted onto beautiful floral paper to lift the butterfly out.

I’ve made a wedding card with two glass painted hearts, and a butterfly topper by layering 3 lass painted butterflies, spacing the layers with beads, and finishing with crystals.
The paints are superb quality and lovely to work with. Painting is certainly not my strongpoint, but I’m quite happy with the results I acheived.

I have been having a go with glass paints over the last couple of weeks and this is what I have produced. I know they are not perfect and I think a steadier hand would have solved a lot of the problems I had. It is great fun to do though and probably something I will do again. A lot of practicing is needed as the paints do need to be mastered a bit.
The seahorse I have backed with holographic card to give it a glittery effect and for the hearts I sploged three different colours on to acetate and and mixed together to get the marbled effect. Hope you like them.

I have chosen these two:
Iris and Poppy.
Hope you like them!

Here’s my two attempts. The wedding one is complete I wanted to add names to the hearts, but I don’t know anyone about to get married and also wasn’t sure on how to do it, so thought I would ask now as something different. The rose one is just the image as I’ve been ill this week due to a viral infection so can’t sit still for long enough with needing to sneeze, cough or just generally need to move due to aches. I hope that this is ok. I planned to use it as an appiture (sp). Nevermind I’ve got better as my first attempts had loads of brush stokes as I didn’t use enough paint
Catherine (Snooptigger)
Kate has made these two which I completely forgot to upload myself as she is away and sent me the actual entries, sent in plenty of time too may I add.
Her wedding card and a aperture card with patterned paper
