Cobra distinguishes itself even more than before with its 2 ranges within Cobra.

Cobra Artist first introduced in 2010, and the newer range Cobra Study. Originally Cobra was a high profile modern art movement which started in Europe in 1948. COBRA, was an acronym of the 3 capital cites where the founders came from. Copenhagen, Brussels & Amsterdam. Like children these artists wanted to experiment & paint expressively, without any plans, other than the plan to use your imagination and lots of colour! That sounds lie some artists who really had decided to  Live Creatively!

A special mix of Dutch craftsmanship makes sure that this paint can be mixed and thinned using water, but still be classed as an oil paint. Cobra makes it possible to do the unthinkable and allow you to oil paint without the hassle & cost of solvents like white spirit or turps.

Some of the things that make Cobra special are its high level of quality and the ease which the colours can be mixed using water.

There are also other benefits that Cobra gives the painter:

  1. No smells associated with oil painting.
  2. Wide range of applications - use 'ala prima', paint in layers or create watercolour effects!
  3. Very convenient. Just clean up with soap and water. If you have managed to get your clothes covered in paint, just pop them in the wash!
