Royal Talens Drawing ink offers many creative possibilities for card making or with use as a waterproof ink for art in drawing schools. Waterproof drawing inks can also be used with a technical pen or as airbrush ink, or with acrylic brushs. When used with a brush a door of opportunity for expression arises;  especially if you have lots of craft supplies and are a creative crafter! Royal Talens Drawing Inks are a waterproof (indeible) ink, and has brilliant bright indeible colours, is easy to use and is quick drying. This allows the user to work quickly together without diluting applied coats. These qualities which are guaranteed to provide a good end result.

Another interesting feature is that Talens drawing inks do not spread when used on sized grounds like canvases.Talens drawing inks consists of 16 bright and transparent colours and 2 opaque colours (white and black). By mixing waterproof inks with white half-transparent colours, attractive pastel like shades of ink colours can be obtained with these drawing inks and used together with any craft materials you may have to help you visually enhanse your waterproof ink paintings.

Ultramarine is a blue pigment with ‘traces of red’. Mixed with bluish reds it offers numerous possibilities for creating surprising shades of violet. In addition, Ultramarine is often used as a transparent layer in the glazing technique. If applied thinly on a white ground or by mixing it with a little white paint, the characteristic, intense, clear blue colour is created.
