Acrylic Colour from Talens


The ranges of acrylic you will find on our site are an alternative to what is commonly found on the market place. This section holds the acrylic brands Talens make that are either the equivalent to, or better than other brands like System 3 and Galleria.

The Van Gogh Acrylic has a slightly higher price tag, but is a step up in quality than the Amsterdam Standard Series, and has more pigment, less filler, better lightfastness and a more buttery constancy. It also has the advantage of coming in a 40ml size. However it does have less colours; which is of course one of the great things about the Amsterdam Acrylic range!

With acrylic paint the artist can mix the paint with water give it transparency and make it thinner, almost life watercolour if you like. Once dry these the acrylic paint is indelible, so be sure to clean your acrylic paint brushes when you're done! The short drying time makes it much quicker to paint in layers on many surfaces ranging from plastic to fine art canvases.
