Cardmaking With Glass Paints -Thankyou Butterfly

"Thank you Butterly Card"

Butterflies! I just can not get away from butterflies.....! I'm sure that you can see why too. I LOVE using this motif of mine and have now probably used enough throughout my cardmaking with Glass paints. Really really need to design something new.

I have used a Glass painted Butterfly topper along with some beautiful papermania Rose Garden patterned paper, allowing the butterfly to POP right out but, keeping with the beautiful pink hues. I used Light gold relief paint  and used glass paints White Opaque and Fuchsia, mixed in with white. Applied thickly onto acetate and cut each butterfly and relieved with foam squares to create a 2 dimensional butterfly, as if fluttering off the card. Sticky gems, paper roses, paper flower, ribbon and a die cut sentiment were added on to finish. You could use acrylics to create this butterfly or you could even produce with watercolour paints to create something more soft and delicate. Finished off with decorating the inside.
