This workshop will be in our warehouse space, Starting on 6th June 2018, at 6.30pm, and for 3 weeks thereafter.
The Workshop is at Unit 18, MidWynd, DD1 4JG (around the corner from our shop on Perth Road in Dundee).
Buy a block of 4 sessions for a 2 hour long evening (6.30pm - 8.30pm) oil painting paint workshop and learn about materials, techniques & methods. Over the course of the 4 sessions you will produce a painting from still life, using the fat over lean technique.
You can choose to use traditional oil paint, or if you prefer Cobra solvent free oil paint.
The dates will be as follows:
- 6th June
- 13th June
- 20th June
- 27th June
Materials and aprons are provided so you just need to bring yourself.
Local Professional Artist & Host, Jonathan Hood, will be focusing on things like what the paint is, its technical properties, the correct and incorrect applications of it, how to use all the various mediums and mixers that are available these days.
- Expect an inspiring and thought provoking creative experience!
Session Outline
- Drawing out and first layer of painting using thinned out colour
- Continuation of week 1 using undiluted paint
- Painting using additives
- Final layer of with glazing mediums etc.

NB
- Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds if workshops are missed with less than 48 hours notice.
- However if they have had to be cancelled on our part we will either refund, or transfer the booking to another date acceptable to yourself.
- If there is not sufficient attendees, then we may have to postpone. In this event we will offer a new date for a workshop, or a refund.

UK Delivery
UK delivery starts from £3.50 with free delivery on orders over £30 (excluding the Channel Isles).
Unfortunately due to extra packing and shipping costs, we cannot do this on some product, mainly oversized ones such as large canvases.
